Michael Gibbons (b. 1985) is an Italian‑American glass artist whose work merges technical engineering with sculptural geometry. As the Master Gaffer at WYG Glass Art Studio Hawaiʻi, he is recognized for his freestyle precision, sacred geometry, and masterful color layering.
Working from an ocean‑facing studio on Oʻahu, he draws daily inspiration from Hawaiʻi’s natural beauty, energy, and community. The studio functions as both sanctuary and laboratory, where he explores advanced geometric engineering, unexplored color theory, and intuitively intrinsic design.
His one‑of‑one pieces are conceived as heirloom‑level masterworks—museum‑caliber objects that function as both investment‑grade art and emotional catalysts. Each chamber, curve, and line reflects his core principle of living with authenticity and intention, transforming functional forms into sculptural masterpieces.
