WYG Hawai‘i

At WYG Hawai‘i, each work is created as an original handcrafted artwork. While certain works may possess functional qualities, every piece is first and foremost intended as collectible art—created, documented, authenticated, and preserved accordingly.

Because of the limited, one-of-one, serialized, allocation-based, and collectible nature of WYG Hawai‘i works, purchases are treated as collector acquisitions rather than conventional retail inventory transactions.

ALL SALES FINAL

All purchases are considered final upon completion of checkout.

Works may be individually reserved, curated, photographed, documented, authenticated, prepared, packaged, and removed from public availability specifically for a collector. Due to this process:

Returns, cancellations, exchanges, shipment refusals, post-purchase preference changes, buyer’s remorse claims, market-value concerns, or pricing disputes are not accepted.

No cash refunds will be issued except where required under applicable law.

Any exception approved by WYG Hawai‘i shall be issued solely in the form of store credit at WYG Hawai‘i’s discretion.

Store credit, where granted, is non-transferable and valid for ninety (90) days unless otherwise stated in writing.

Approved Exceptions

Exceptions may only be reviewed under the following circumstances:

• Verified transit damage
• Confirmed fulfillment error by WYG Hawai‘i
• Legal obligations requiring remedy under applicable law

Damage claims must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of confirmed delivery and include:

• photographs of exterior packaging
• photographs of internal packaging
• photographs of damage
• supporting documentation requested by WYG Hawai‘i

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in claim denial.

Return Authorization Requirement

No return shipment may be initiated without written authorization from WYG Hawai‘i.

Unauthorized shipment refusals, delivery refusals, chargebacks initiated prior to completion of documented review procedures, or unauthorized returns may be subject to applicable recovery, restocking, shipping, handling, packaging, administrative, and processing deductions where legally permitted.

Approved returns must:

• arrive within seven (7) calendar days of authorization
• include original packaging
• include Certificate of Authenticity
• include all documentation and inserts
• arrive in original condition

Items showing use, alteration, damage, missing documentation, or missing authentication materials may be denied.

Deposits & Custom Work

Deposits reserve studio time, allocation opportunities, materials, and production scheduling.

Deposits are non-refundable and may only be converted into store credit if approved by WYG Hawai‘i.

Custom, commissioned, personalized, or made-to-order works become final sale once production, preparation, material allocation, or fabrication begins.

Collector Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase from WYG Hawai‘i, collectors acknowledge and agree that they are acquiring original artwork and collectible works rather than mass-produced consumer inventory.

These terms exist to protect collectors, preserve provenance standards, maintain archive integrity, and uphold the long-term value of WYG Hawai‘i works.

A few protective notes:

  • I removed “cash refunds under any circumstance” because payment processors and certain jurisdictions dislike absolute language.
  • I removed “exchange toward another available work” because that can be argued as a standing obligation.
  • I broadened “production begun” to include allocation and preparation so someone cannot argue technical timing.
  • I inserted language around chargebacks and shipment refusals.
  • I kept your collector positioning, because it aligns with your established WYG framework.

For your earlier question: if you want a 50% restocking/recovery fee included, that should be a separate clause—not hidden in privacy policy language. Privacy pages are for data practices, not commercial terms. A stronger placement is under Return Authorization:

Approved exceptions, refused shipments, unauthorized returns, or returns requiring repackaging, administrative processing, authentication review, inventory recovery, or restoration procedures may be subject to up to a fifty percent (50%) recovery/restocking deduction where legally permitted.
